Go Twins!

This past weekend Keaton and I went to Minneapolis. We stopped at the Mall of America on Saturday(against Keaton's will, haha) and then headed downtown to meet my parents for some drinks, then went to the Twins game.

I love me some Joe Mauer :)

Sunday's game against the White Sox

We got to sit in the Legends Club and Matt and Terry (waving to us) were sitting in the Champions Club. Great seats!

This was during the bottom of the 9th inning. The Twins were in the lead for most of the game and then the Sox took the lead, making the score 6-3.
Delmon Young was up to bat and everyone in the crowd was going crazy hoping for a hit, and we got just that! A single to be exact.

Punto ran home making the score was 6-6. If you look close (or click on the picture to enlarge it!) you can see Matt and Terry's excitement. :)

The Sox had a throwing error so Cuddyer was able to run home as well, winning the game 7-6. This celebratory picture gets me every time...it was SO exciting!
(PS: The White Sox are first in the division and the Twins won the series 3-1)

Just in case you want to watch the end for yourself, I've attached the link.
The Twins Walk Off
You can see Matt and Terry at 0:18 and 0:28

Fireworks at the end of the game.

TWINS WIN :D

Lots of planes taking off and landing at MSP Airport...thought it was a cool picture.

And then there was Bagheera....

Keats and I are leaving for Wisconsin Dells on Thursday morning with my family, so we'll have lots more pictures to share!

Catching Up

Hola, amigos!

Hope you've all been well. We're so bad at this blog thing...sorry!

A couple of weeks ago Keaton and I picked up my Grandpa Ralph and headed north for my Aunt Laurel's surprise birthday party. We were hiding in the garage when she got home and as soon as she opened the door, we were all standing there waiting to surprise her.

SURPRIIIISE!
(Today is her actual birthday..HAPPY 50TH AUNT LAURIE!!!)

As I said in the last post, we went camping with some friends for the 4th. It was a little rainy but we still had fun and got to see fireworks!

The only picture of us from that weekend and of course it's blurry!

We took Bagheera with us for the weekend and he "attempted" to make friends with my cat at home, Ellie. Ellie isn't nice to ANYONE except my mom...not even Bagheera. Sorry Mom, it's true! My Grandma Judy used to call Ellie "dick head" -- haaahahahah. Oh, Grandma...how we all miss your wit!

Ellie (kind of hidden on the left pillar) just starred at Bags wherever he went. She NEVER puts her guard down!

Pinning her ears back :)

He's always complaining that there aren't any pictures of him on here...so there ya go, Keaton!

At least look at me while I'm taking your picture ;)

On our way back to Cedar Falls -- such a cuddler :)

Vegas Recap

Hi, all!

We got back from Vegas on Monday night and we still haven't caught up on sleep. Good thing there's a long weekend coming our way! We had a GREAT time on our vacation and thanks to everyone for sending me birthday wishes.

Since we've both been to Vegas a couple of times, we didn't do any of the sight-seeing and spent our days laying by the pool. Boyyyy was that nice! It was fun (for me) to just hang out with Dad and Connie since I don't get to see them as often as I'd like. Thanks so much for everything guys!!

We didn't take very many pictures but we FINALLY got some good ones of Keats and I together. And by "good" I mean, he was looking at the camera and had his eyes open...=)

We sure did miss Bagheera while we were out of town. My aunt Lorelei owns a pet grooming and boarding shop, so she watched our little guy for us. He didn't want to leave when I went to pick him up on Tuesday, haha! He grew like a weed and so did his attitude. I came out of the bedroom this afternoon to find him drinking my water.....

He would NOT get off the table for anything. That could be a problem.

Here's a video we took tonight of him playing around and then Keats offers him some catnip right at the end (our favorite part) because he has his own catnip plant on our patio. His new favorite thing to play with is the skateboard you'll see in the video. He just figured out tonight that if he runs fast enough and jumps on to the skateboard, it will move. It's pretty funny, I'll try to catch that in a video next time. :)

We hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend -- we're going camping with some friends. Hopefully the weather cooperates!
