Hey, remember us?!

Hi, everyone!

Sorry it's been so long since the last post. The CDC closed (until UNI starts classes) the last week of July, so I went back home to relax for a week and a half. I didn't take my laptop back to Forest City with me, so that's why I'm posting the pictures now...finally!

Keaton and I went to Wisconsin Dells with my family and stayed at the Wilderness Resort. We got to stay in a villa at the
Wilderness on the Lake...verrrry nice! We've stayed at the Wilderness a couple of times before, but the waterparks just keep getting bigger and bigger. While in the Dells, we went on a water ride called The Hurricane (way scary!), spent a day playing 3D & blacklight mini golf, lazer tag, riding go karts, spending lots of money in the arcade, eating & drinking, and lounging in an amazing lazy river. I think it's safe to say we all had a great time. Thanks Mom and Matt for everything! :)

I like our similar facial expressions :)

They were playing a human pinball game. The chairs moved all over the place and vibrated and had fans blowing at you, it was cool!

Keats asked the bartender to put rum in a cherry slushie and they were sooo good.
I renamed them LUSHIES ;)
(and now you see why I'm happy whenever I can get a picture of him with his eyes open...)

Our arcade winnings

Since there were no "big" waterparks at the villas we had to take a bus or the pontoon to get where we needed to go. Taking the pontoon was fun and relaxing.

Wilderness on the Lake

The ducks we got to see everyday while waiting for the pontoon

Matt, Tyler, and Sarah raced on those slides. You can see part of the lazy river. It was cool because you could float on the lower lever and then go up to the ramp (while still sitting in your tube) and float along the upper level. I'd never seen anything like that!

That's the line of tubes waiting to get sent down the slide to the lower level of the lazy river

Top Secret -- aka the upside down white house. We didn't know what to expect going in but we don't recommend it! It was cool to see but not very much fun! Tyler is also trying to do a handstand...attempt #1

Successful with attempt #2!

We were ready to take a nice picture and then he shoved our heads together...typical.

He HAD to put money in to hear Bill Clinton speak...

As you can see, everything was upside down. Well, almost everything!

We went to Houlihans for dinner on the last night and got S'more Fondue for dessert. Tyler insisted that we just broke through the paper on top of the chocolate and marshmallow...we did. The waiter came back five minutes later and was like "Oh, I should have told you...there's a place to untie it on the other side." Haaahahah. Good one, Tylo.

FIREWORKS!! The guys had to stop since they are (of course) illegal in Iowa and Colorado.

Bagheera got to stay with Aunt Lorelei while we were gone. She must have worn him out!!!

Are you proud, Mom?!

Go Twins!

This past weekend Keaton and I went to Minneapolis. We stopped at the Mall of America on Saturday(against Keaton's will, haha) and then headed downtown to meet my parents for some drinks, then went to the Twins game.

I love me some Joe Mauer :)

Sunday's game against the White Sox

We got to sit in the Legends Club and Matt and Terry (waving to us) were sitting in the Champions Club. Great seats!

This was during the bottom of the 9th inning. The Twins were in the lead for most of the game and then the Sox took the lead, making the score 6-3.
Delmon Young was up to bat and everyone in the crowd was going crazy hoping for a hit, and we got just that! A single to be exact.

Punto ran home making the score was 6-6. If you look close (or click on the picture to enlarge it!) you can see Matt and Terry's excitement. :)

The Sox had a throwing error so Cuddyer was able to run home as well, winning the game 7-6. This celebratory picture gets me every time...it was SO exciting!
(PS: The White Sox are first in the division and the Twins won the series 3-1)

Just in case you want to watch the end for yourself, I've attached the link.
The Twins Walk Off
You can see Matt and Terry at 0:18 and 0:28

Fireworks at the end of the game.

TWINS WIN :D

Lots of planes taking off and landing at MSP Airport...thought it was a cool picture.

And then there was Bagheera....

Keats and I are leaving for Wisconsin Dells on Thursday morning with my family, so we'll have lots more pictures to share!
